One of the fastest, easiest, and low-cost ways to retrieve a mountain of popular, yet "under-the-radar" keyword suggestions is to tap into each of the top-pay-per click keyword suggestion tools.

By tapping each keyword suggestion tool, you can easily generate hundreds (or even thousands) of alternative keyword phrases to lower you pay per click costs or optimize your Web page "attraction."

While the number of keyword suggestion tools have exloded on the scene, I've listed my favorites below:

Overture Search Term Suggestion Tool
Overture was one of the first pay per click services to offer its advertisers a keyword suggestion tool.

Just recently, Google opened its keyword suggestion tool to the public... just type a keyword or phrase below:

Wordtracker
Ask just about any internet marketing pro about WordTracker and watch a smile appear on their face.

WordTracker produces custom keyword usage reports -- retrieved from a live database storing hundreds of millions of actual searches.

WordTracker does offer a free trial, but it's a hassle to use... instead, I'd tap into NicheBOT... it's an alternative keyword suggestion tool that taps directly into WordTracker's database.

Peak under the hood of your competition
The first keyword marketing strategy is to "peak under the hood" -- literally visit dozens of the top-listed Web sites at Google™ for the keyword or phrase similiar to your keyword phrase.

I've created a nifty tool that does all of the hard work for you in just a click... type a keyword or phrase below:

As you can see, the way I programmed the above script to tap into Google actually delivers the keywords in phrases directly in Google's results!

But you might click on each individual listing to visit their site. Then open the Web page's source code and look for the keyword META tag section to see all of the meta keywords.

This is one of my favorite ways to find keywords... it's a goldmine of keyword suggestions to "inspire" you.

I say "inspire", but just so you know -- keywords and phrases are generally not copyright protected (unless they're trademarked).

Tap Teoma for keyword niches
Odds are you've never heard of Teoma... and that's the good news.

I use Teoma's "Refine Suggestions" to find popular, yet lesser-known keyword phrases to rank high with search engines and find pay per click ads with little or no competition.

When you type a keyword or phrase below, look at Teoma's result's page (on the right-hand side) for the result's under "Refine Suggestions to narrow your search":

Keyword gold found in glossaries
According to the dictionary, a glossary is a list of difficult or specialized words with their definitions, often placed at the back of a book.

But for internet marketing junkies, a glossary is their best-kept secret to find a treasure trove of keyword gold.
