• Does anybody have an opinion on which is better?"

Ending your blog with a question is a surefire way to generate comments on your blog... and when you add an incentive to the call to action mix, I've seen participation double... even triple.
On Bly's blog, he doubled the average number of comments by offering a free gift... here's the call to action used:
