			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the most important exercises to help you promote your online business is to collect a list of your prospect's pain points.</p>
<p>As the name suggests, pain points are written (and even spoken) "cries for help."</p>
<p>Collecting a list of pain points helps you understand what your prospects truly desire. Referring to these same pain points in your blog writing and ad copy helps your prospect better relate to your offerings. It almost instantly builds rapport which leads to a higher trust factor.</p>
<p><em>Take a look at this:</em></p>

<p>In almost all cases, when you offer solutions to your prospect's problems (and the price is profitable for both buyer and seller) a purchase is often made.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>How to find your prospect's pain points in mere seconds</strong></p>
<p>There are several places where internet users are offered space to vent about their issues:</p>
<p>- Email<br />
- Twitter (and Facebook)<br />
- Message boards</p>
<p>In most cases, anyone with a computer and internet connection (that would be you) can literally peak over the shoulder of their prospect and listen into these complaints.</p>
<p>I say "most" because I know of no legal, ethical or technical ways to intercept your prospects emails.</p>
<p>(Of course you can be on the receiving end of an email complaint. This is certainly one way to get a pain point, but it's not exactly the most proactive way to collect pain points.)</p>
<p>But, it's astonishingly easy to view private conversations within social media sites like Twitter. It takes just 2 clicks of your mouse and you're in. And it's 100% legal and legit', too.</p>
<p>For example, let's say you write a blog about weight loss. And you want to find pain points to help inspire you to write that next blog post. Just search Twitter using the following formula:</p>

<p><em>Like this:</em></p>

<p>(Adding the search syntax -http removes any website links&#8230; those are typically "tweeted" by marketers, not by frustrated Twitter users.)</p>
<p>In less time then it takes me to sneeze, I found these gold nuggets during a Twitter search:</p>

<p>HOLY COW! How awesome is this? Can you see how you can take these pain points and flip them around into ad copy?</p>
<p><em>For example, turn this:</em></p>
<p><strong>"Forever frustrated at life because I'm still hungry after breakfast. How am I supposed to stick to my diet."</strong></p>
<p><em>And turn it into this benefit bullet:</em></p>
<p><strong>&#8211;&gt; How to stick to your diet without feeling hungry after breakfast.</strong></p>
<p><em>Turn this pain point:</em></p>
<p><strong>I'm so frustrated with my moms weight problem: plz give me ur best idea on motivating someone who doesn't care! #health #diet #weight #fat</strong></p>
<p><em>And turn it into:</em></p>
<p><strong>&#8211;&gt; 7 fast and easy tactics to get your family members to BEG to join your diet (in 13 hours or less).</strong></p>
<p><em>This pain point:</em></p>
<p><strong>I am really getting frustrated trying to find the right diet for working out&#8230;</strong></p>
<p><em>Turns into this benefit bullet:</em></p>
<p><strong>&#8211;&gt; This elite Navy Seals' diet is PERFECT for those who work out hard and want to gain muscle rapidly&#8230;</strong></p>

<strong>A MUCH better way to find pain points</strong></p>
<p>Discovering customer pain points via Twitter is cool&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8230; But using a combination of message boars forums and Google is way better.</p>
<p><em>Take a look at this example. I discovered this amazing post in just 45 seconds:</em></p>

<p>This particular post is a treasure trove of pain points. The entire paragraph is one pain point after another.</p>
<p>Basically, anything that's either "negative", references the word "help", or is in the form of a question &#8211; is typically a pain point.</p>
<p><strong>I've included only the pain points here:</strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8211;&gt; I feel like all I do is talk about losing weight and I don't ever actually do it.<br />
&#8211;&gt; I don't know where to start or what to do.<br />
&#8211;&gt; No matter how many books I read or people I talk to I fail.<br />
&#8211;&gt; Coming here reading success stories make me happy but not enough to push me.<br />
&#8211;&gt; It just makes me doubt myself and think Ill never do it.<br />
&#8211;&gt; Now if only i could get my eatiing on track and stop binging.<br />
&#8211;&gt; Im just not sure what else to do.<br />
&#8211;&gt; Someone help me.<br />
&#8211;&gt; What did you do to start out???</strong></p>
<p>Armed with these pain points, we can either write new content (for a blog or for an article) or create benefits/advantages for our advertising&#8230;</p>

Well, articles are supposed to be read, that's their purpose to impart your message and information. If it is not read then it is a waste of time and effort.</p>
<p>But all the same, articles have to be written to be read. It's just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn't have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points needed to be reminded of, and some guides to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles could be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.</p>
<p>Of course, writing articles must be about something you know about, that's why if you own a site, you probably is knowledgeable about that certain topic and theme. When you write about it, you won't have a hard time because you already know what it is and what it's about. It's just a matter of making your articles creative and interesting.</p>
<p>To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are six red hot tips to get your articles read. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting.</p>
<p><strong>1) Use short paragraphs.</strong> When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it It can get quite confusing and too much of a hard work to read. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read. Paragraphs can be a single sentence, sometimes even a single word!</p>
<p><strong>2) Make use of numbers or bullets.</strong> As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. As each point, tip, guide or method is started with a bullet or point, readers will know that this is where the tips start and getting stressed. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your4 article won't look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little bit of flair and pizzazz to your articles shape.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A number of years ago, I consulted for a well-known charity, writing and designing fund raising emails. This organization had a strong marketing program and a loyal base of supporters. We were always racking our brains to come up with some new and clever way to ask the group's donors to make one more contribution.</p>
<p>Donations to this charity are tax-deductible, and every year, one of our top performers was this: In late December, we'd send an email with a simple headline along the lines of "Only 48 hours left to claim a<span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span> tax deduction </span></span>on this year's tax return." It never failed to bring the donations rolling in.</p>
<p>So here's the interesting thing. In surveys, the group's donors told us they didn't actually care much about that tax deduction.</p>
<p>The moral of this story is that deadlines deliver dollars. You see, the tax deduction didn't motivate people to make their donation &#8212; but the deadline did motivate them to do it today!</p>
<p>When you're in the marketing business, procrastination is one of the big reasons that campaigns fail. For everybody who responds to your message and whips out their checkbook, you can be sure there are others who mean to, but just never get around to it.</p>
<p>Once you tune in to how much money you're losing to donors and customers who procrastinate, you'll understand why marketers across the spectrum are always urging you to "act now" before you miss some deadline. Here are three tips for making the most of deadlines to overcome this human habit of procrastination:</p>
<p>Deadlines usually mean "deal." You have to give your audience a reason not to miss the deadline, and most of the time that means getting more for their money somehow. Two for one if you act before Valentine's Day. Our anonymous donor will match any gift you make until his birthday next Thursday. Free shipping for the first 100 customers.</p>
<p>The deadline must seem real. Deadlines have much less punch if your audience senses that you made them up yourself. They have more punch if somebody else imposed the deadline. For example, Uncle Sam gives you until Midnight on December 31 to claim that tax deduction. Valentine's Day is February 14. We've only got 10 widgets left and when they're gone, they're gone. You get the picture.</p>
<p>The deadline must be coming up fast. In your marketing campaign, you want to give people enough time to meet the deadline &#8212; but just barely. For an electronic donation or purchase, two days is a good amount of time. If it's an impulse item and they're already in your store ("Attention K-Mart shoppers"), the you can give them just a few minutes. But if you want to sell them on a big ticket item (that involves negotiation with the spouse), then you better give them a week or two. But however long the deadline it is, it should seem like it's coming up fast. Any longer defeats the purpose of having one in the first place.</p>
<p>It's strange but it's true &#8212; one way to <span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span>make more money </span></span>is to give people less time to spend it! So the next time you are planning an advertising or fundraising effort, give some thought to how you create some kind of deadline, a sense of urgency of that helps helps your audience stop thinking "I'll do it someday" and start thinking "I'll do it today."</p>

<li>You should not have more than two fonts styles on your page.</li>
<li>Those fonts should be clear, clean and easy to read. I use only Arial, Verdana and Tahoma.</li>

<li>Your main area of copy should be black on a white background. Pale colored backgrounds for sidebars etc are OK but always bear in mind that you want the surfer to read your stuff and read it easily.</li>
<li>Use embolding, italics, highlighting, underlining, quotation marks and color but don't over do it! You are trying to achieve clarity not clutter.</li>
<li>Do use bullet points, everyone likes to take in information in short, precise chunks. Numbered lists are also very effective.</li>
<li>Do not have paragraphs that are more than two sentences long.</li>
<li>Use emboldened sub headings to help break the page up.</li>
<li>Make sure that you pay attention to the above relevant points when it comes to your headline &#8211; it's the most important thing you will ever write!</li>
